Safe Landing visited University College London (UCL) on 19th Feb 2026 to give a guest lecture to Environmental Systems Engineering students taking part in ‘Collaborative Environmental Systems Project’ module, in which students work on a real-life project with an industrial partner.
Dr Stijn van Ewijk invited us to collaborate with the students to investigate, attempt to model, and explore alternative scenarios featured in the UK Jet Zero Strategy.

We’ll be staying in touch with the students throughout their project to act as ‘customers’: hosting some drop-in sessions where they can ask them questions and reviewing their final models and project reports.
