On Thursday 6th March, members of the Safe Landing community (Aayaan, Andy, Diana, Finlay, George, James and Todd) visited the ZeroAvia hangars at Cotswold Airport, UK – for a tour round their offices, hangars and testing facilities.
It was a great opportunity to hang-out while learning about the operations of one of the most innovative aerospace companies operating in the UK.
ZeroAvia are one of the few companies globally developing hydrogen-electric powertrains for commercial aviation.
We were shown round by Dominic Weeks, Head of External Affairs and Marketing, at ZeroAvia. Dominic leads their marketing, communications and policy-focused work globally – seeking to ensure awareness, interest and adoption of the company’s technology. We filmed this video interview with Dominic, in front of one of their test aircraft in their hangar:
We discussed:
- What motivated Dominic’s interest in aviation and sustainability
- What ZeroAvia are working on today
- ZeroAvia’s vision for the sustainable future of air travel
- Advice to aviation workers and students interested in the sustainability of our industry

We’re on the look out for more sustainable aviation leaders to share their visions for the future of air travel with us – if this is you, please get in touch, or leave suggestions!
